Ms. Boyle,
What an inspiration to so many. When I first heard you sing "I Dreamed a Dream" tears welled up. I thought an angel escaped heaven. I can't imagine what you are going through as far as this publicity of all sorts, but know many love you for who God made you to be. I, for one, are praying for you so that you may use your God-given gift of song for others. Please get well, so you can continue to share your song and story. I hope this little note from one person from a small western Pennsylvania, USA town, encourages you. Please know you are loved, respected, and admired.

I am writing from Northwestern Ontario, Canada, and I want to add my congratulations to Susan for her courage and musicianship. My father was a professional musician and my partner is also a professional musician. Music is a cutthroat business -- completely antithetical to its artistry. I applaud Susan Boyle's persistance as an artist as it complements her skill and passion. Thanks for sharing it with the world, Susan. Wish that your effort had been matched in kind rather than with cynicism.
Here's to you!

I think what people don't seem to realize when they talk about looks is that she is a beautiful person, so beautiful a person on the inside that it radiates from the inside outwards. Its her soul and spirit of Susan that we fell in love with.

I believe Susan Boyle to be one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Her voice is amazing but the most amazing thing about her is the woman herself. She has something that no plastic surgeon, makeup artist or hairstylist could ever give, true honest to God inner beauty. This is something that all of the cookie cutter, plastic Barbie dolls in Hollywood should be damn envious of because none of them can hold a candle to her. This is a woman that is comfortable in her own skin.
My hope for her is that she remains unchanged by the fame all this brings her, that she keeps her head and her heart unharmed. She is an inspiration to every woman everywhere.

Susan Boyle's rise to fame despite her looks is one of the most refreshing, inspiring events to happen in recent history. What a wonderful world it would be if her story was able to change society's emphasis on beauty over substance, particularly in the media.
Go Susan! You deserve every accolade
